Our goal is to help the incarcerated people experience the love of our LORD, Jesus Christ by continuing visitation and friendship through our prayers, encouragement, counseling, comforting and provision. Our ultimate goal is to cut the chain of recidivism completely by becoming the citizen of Christ’s Kingdom.

Our goal is to help former prisoners with a place to live and to work.
The LOCK Ministry will operate dormitories to house former prisoners until they find their own homes. During their stay, formerly incarcerated participants will receive job training, support, and discipleship.
It is our hope that The LOCK Ministry will be self-sufficient financially from its own businesses within five years.
The LOCK Ministry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community development organization established in 2018.
Since the first day of The LOCK Ministry’s launch, our team has been diligently and faithfully serving the incarcerated and their families. Through the generous outpouring of support from our volunteer mentors and financial donors, we are able to help hundreds of people reform themselves to ensure a smoother and lasting transition back to society.
The LOCK Ministry’s team, volunteers, and financial donors have been faithfully serving since our public launch on January 20, 2019.
Our mentors are from various professional backgrounds, languages, and locations worldwide to help serve inmates who are participating in our P1 Project.
We hit our 2003 goal of 1,000 participants and now have a waitlist to join the P1 PROJECT due to the high demand.
In order to solve the problem of recidivism of the incarcerated, The LOCK Ministry is operating several projects as part of our goal to help returning prisoners join a community, receive job training, and find financial stability to move forward from a life in prison to a restored member of society.
The P1 stands for Psalm Chapter 1, where the blessed man is described as the one who meditates on the Word of God day and night. It was launched in November 2019 and currently serves participants in the California Rehabilitation Center in Norco, Orange County jails, and other prisons in Vacaville, North Kern, Corcoran, Susanville, and Pleasant Valley.
Potter’s House is a project that we are planning for in the future which will help recently released inmates find temporary housing. We want to provide a temporary housing facility where the people out of incarceration may stay, get trained, and be rehabilitated.
The Potter’s Hands Project was founded to help provide job training and opportunities to the formerly incarcerated. We are currently operating a custom garment printing & embroidery business and have plans to expand into other industries as the project becomes more financially stable.
Mt. Zion School of Theology is a project to start a school of theology for prison inmates in partnership with the Mt. Zion Church of Ontario. This project is currently placed on hold based on our conditions but is expected to develop more in the future.
Getting involved with The LOCK Ministry, by financially supporting or volunteering, is an incredible opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of prisoners. By contributing financially, you are providing the necessary resources to support various rehabilitation programs and initiatives that aim to break the cycle of incarceration. Your support enables The LOCK Ministry to offer educational opportunities, job training, and counseling services that empower inmates to reform and successfully reintegrate into society.
On the other hand, volunteering as a mentor allows you to directly engage with inmates, providing guidance, encouragement, and accountability in their journey of personal growth and transformation. As a mentor, you can witness firsthand the power of compassion and guidance in helping individuals rewrite their life stories and find new hope for a better future.
Whether through financial support or volunteering, joining The LOCK Ministry offers a meaningful way to contribute to the restoration and redemption of those who deserve a second chance.
